    The winner of this award will be developing an innovative technical solution to a clearly identified community need, using the internet, mobile phone or other technologies to bring good to the community.

    Who is eligible?

    This Award is open to any individual, organisation or business based in the UK that is developing an innovative technical solution to a clearly identified community need.

    This can include projects, partnerships or activities that make innovative use of computers, the internet, mobile phone or other technologies to bring good to the community. UK based, UK focused organisations are eligible, as well as UK based organisations which do work overseas.

    What are we looking for?

    The winner will demonstrate an innovative solution inspired by and, where possible, delivered through the people that it benefits.

    Projects may be at an early stage, breaking new ground, or building on ideas that have been tried before and learning from what didn’t work as well.

    Nominations are now closed and the finalists will be announced on this site on Friday 20 May 2011.
